An anthology title that debuted in 1948, it contained many stories for various Western heroes. The first two issues were called "Wild West" before the title was renamed to "Wild Western". Notably, it was the first appearance of the Black Rider and the first four issues carried the first four Arizona Annie stories before the Arizona Annie stories were moved as floating back-up features to other protagonist-based books, such as Two-Gun Kid. In addition to the Annie stories, Wild Western had stories featuring Kid Colt and Two-Gun Kid (Harder).
